Brock’s Mathematics Skills Test is the entrance exam you have to take in order to take MATH 1P01 and MATH 1P05. The test is usually 20 questions and covers pre-calculus math (Grade 12 Advanced Functions or MATH 1P20) material. You have 2 chances and need to achieve a grade of 70% to pass and take the course.
I have to take the math skills test tomorrow, January 3, 2024. I shouldn’t feel as worried as I do, but I haven’t done math like this in 3+ years, and have been procrastinating studying because “It’s easy! I’ve done it before!“. While writing this, I have 1 day to go over around half the material and have been struggling with the stuff I’ve already gone over. I’m remembering why I hated grade 12 math haha.
